I have an 1994 Force 70 hp. The boat has been setting up until I got it this year. I have posted some problems on here and people have helped me fix the problems. OK first of all the carb was dirty. I cleaned the carb out with carb cleaner and it started to run fine. For about two weeks. So today I go fishing and it was moving down the lake fine. And every once in a while it would miss but then pick right back up. So I fished anyway. While when it came to to load the boat it would ideal fine but it would not push the boat up onto the trailer. When I gave it full throtle it would at like it was coking up. Like maybe to much gas. Or that one cylinder was not firing. I noticed gas at the front of the carb when I took the engine cover off. So Im thinking that maybe Im getting to much gas due to carb problems or I not getting fire from one of my spark plugs.

Thanks again..

Re: Motor spitting and no full horse power

Check for incorrect float height in the carbs. Or incorrect fuel/air mixture setting.
