gasket question

What is the name of the gasket between the exhaust (not the housing) and the block?

I did not get one of these in my gasket set, I did however get a long "string type" gasket, what is that for?

I would assume you mean the power head gasket correct?

Opps, it's a 110.

It's not the gasket on bottom, it goes between the cylinder banks. There is a plate between the block and exhast cover, I need the gasket between the plate and block, not the cover and plate.


Sorry for the confusion, I thyped this at work and was trying to rush!

Any idea what the string type seal is?
