Ok, I am going to pick the boat up from the shop today and bring it home and test the stator myself becuase I don't have enough money for the guy to work on it any further. Now I can test the brown wire from the stator from the canon plug right? I just unplug the canon plug and put the prob on it and the other prob to ground right? Any help would be great. My book should be here Tuesday and I don't want to wait on it so I figured I can test a couple of easy things before it gets here.
