I have constant 12v to my gauges even with my ignition switch in the OFF position!
I tried disconnecting ALL 6 wires from the ignition switch and i STILL have this constant ON condition !

This is a 1990 Johnson 90HP v4. I bought this boat last fall and it did not have this problem then. Every thing else seems to work properly, starter also will crank over when I turn key.

Please help.

You must have something connected that has a full 12v supplied to it. Most gages will have a switched 12v supply and other things on your boat have a constant 12v supply you can switch on and off with the device. You will have to get underneath and do some checking. A Ohm meter or a simple test light will be your best friend in this case. Poke around and you will find either something conected wrong or somethingn shorting out to your gagues. Alot of gauges have a common ground and switched 12v so check around.
