I have to replace an impeller in a 1997 Mariner 60hp big foot.
Are there any oil replacement issues when I drop the leg off?

there shouldn't be any oil loss as you are only dropping the part below the cav plate and the gearbox is sealed. The drive shaft will come out of the leg with the water tube. The shift rod stays in the leg..........Jerry
