Hooking back up oil injection

I have a 1992 200hp Mercury. I had to remove the center console in the boat to access my fuel tank. The only part of the oil injection that I unhooked was the hose that runs to the main oil tank. I never touched anything near the motor. Do I just hook it back up or do I need to do anything special. Thanks,

I don't anticipate any problems. Just hook it back up and make sure it's all nice and snug. At the end of your first time out, burp the air out of the oil tank on the motor. With the motor idling, just loosen the cap til oil comes out and snug-up the cap again. You might get a little air in there from the disconnection, but it shouldn't be much at all.

Thanks for the info. I am very leary about oil injection on a motor this old. I was thinking of also pre-mixing 100:1 instead of 50:1. I would think with 50:1 I might foul plugs. Other than the smoke, would it hurt if I did mix at 50:1 providing I run seafoam thru about every 2nd tank? If I decided to mix at 100:1 would that be enough oil to save the motor in case of an oil injection failure? Thanks.

I would say you need to bleed the oil ...... no 100:1 won't be enough, 50:1 is fine, check that your oils injection is working by making a little mark on the oil tank and see if it uses oil after a days boating etc ......
