Thanks to all the good folks here that helped.
A special thanks to Larry at Ellisport Marine that supplied me with parts and sound advice as well. Larry is very knowledgeable and is an excellent parts man. He knows his stuff folks.

I took the boat to the lake yesterday and it started filling up with water.
Pin hole in the livewell pump.
OEM replacement purchased from my local Wally world.

Dropped boat in water and just bumped the switched and she fired right up.
RAN LIKE A DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Her bow rose and as she increased speed I thought something was wrong.
All of a sudden the bow fell and she took off about 40mph.
I was really impressed that the boat was that fast.
The park ranger said he expected the boat to be fast while I was replacing the livewell pump. He was right.

I loaded and unloaded the boat alone and she was pretty easy to handle.

Im really happy this boat runs so well.

For a 20 year old boat and motor I am impressed.
Most people dont believe its that old when I tell them.
Down to the chrome wheels with no rash or rust on them.
Still has the original whitewall Goodyear tires.
This classic boat is a rare find and I thank you good folks here on iboats for helping me.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have this motor.
I have learned a tremendous amount about it and can help you.
