Where is a good place to buy OEM Johnson parts?

I am looking for parts to convert my 1981 Johnson 7.5 HP long shaft motor to a short shaft. Buying the parts new is very expensive everyplace I have checked. Is there a place that offers OEM parts at a discount???

All the quotes I have received so far are at or near full list price. I would consider buying the whole lower unit if I could find a fair price.

Does anyone know of a used parts source?

tcoutboard.com you very well may be better off, selling and buying used, or trading.
