Need buying advise - for a 1987 Sea Ray 245 Walkaround

I am currently thinking about buying this boat ( http://www.finn.no/finn/boat/object?finnkode=9484875 ), which is a 1987 Sea Ray walkaround, with a 2 year old Mercury 350 (260 hp) engine and probably the original Alpha outdrive.

Anyone know of this vintage of Sea Rays, and is there anything in particular I should look for? Any resources on the net for old manuals, brochures, etc.?

Any helpful hints would be appreciated.

as with buying any boat, soft spots, stress cracks, etc. compression check, good long test drive. as far a manuals on the boat, doubtful, the guys in the merc i/o forum can tell you all about the engine and outdrive, and help you get the correct manuals for the engine and outdrive. suggest you try a thread in the i/o forum
