Where to find the model Number Evinrude 70

Hi I just purchased a boat that has a 70 HP Evinrude VRO outboard. I was looking for a serial number or model number tag but I couldn't find one. Does anyone know where I should be looking for it? I am truying to find out as much as Ican about the motor before I make some important decisions. Thanks for your assistance.

On a sticker on the backside of the swivel bracket or on one of the clamp brackets. Probably on the left side. Sometimes they become unreadable. If that's so, you might find one with similar hood markings on eBay. Sellers usually post model years and Johnsons change their decals annually. Most other brands use the same for several years.
