ive been everywhere, and i cannot find the right thrust washer for my motor. i bought a new michigan wheel prop, hub kit and the thrust washer they said i needed. well, my shaft is not tapered. it has a lip. i called michigan wheel, and they told me this is the correct thrust washer. is there more than one type of shaft for this motor? where can i find the right thrust washer?

Right around that time is when OMC made a change in the propshafts..... bevel vs lip. Your engine requires a small thrust washer that fits inside a larger lip edge type thrust washer.

I can't get at my books right now due to the alarm being set. Contact me via email (below) and I'll look up the proper numbers for you in the morning.

EDIT 03/27/07: I have a new one left in my remaining stock specificly for your engine. If "iboats" does not have that item, contact me.
