Getting tired of my nice electric lower unit, want to switch to a manual lower unit...
Question:
Is it possible to move the water intake......blocking the intake behind the propeller, drilling some holes in front of the housing an route the water op to the water pump ??
This is my old electric LU.
Will have to route the water across the driveshaft aria, shouldn't be any problem ...or ??, using 2 L fittings + some hose/tube ( like they are using on the nosecone installs ).
Or maybe I can reroute it internaly ??, the aria in front of the driveshaft are empty ( behind the drive shaft are filled with oil ).
Engine = 90 hp 1964
Manual Lower unit ?? 1965 > 68 ??
