I just purchase a used 16ft mirrocraft with a Nissan NS40C 361A1 Serial # 67471. How can I determine year of manufacture? The boat had remote steering and remote throttle but steering station and steering cables are gone. Can I convert back to a tiller handle? And if so can you supply parts and the correct shop manual, or should I try to locate locally? Boat has been sitting for 18 months, so probably need a carburetor rebuild kit, and change the lower unit gear oil. Any other advise?

If you dan't know the age of the impeller you should change it.As far as parts source we here on the forums are just fellow boaters trying to help folks out.Iboats does have parts but these are more of a maintenance type parts.If it is possible to convert back to tiller those parts would probably have to come from a dealer.I believe Tohatsu parts are similar.

Any Nissan or Tohatsu dealer has the parts available.
