Can anyone tell me if its normal for a small stream of water to be running out from the area of the engine block drain plug. It is not coming from the actaull engine block as there would be oil running from there also. It appears to be from around the teflon washer.

I already did check the oil for water and it's definetly not that. Besides it's a fairly steady stream and if there was a leak from the drain plug there would be oil residue present. It seems to be coming from around the teflon washer. There is a gap between the washer and the upper unit housing and I can see I believe a o ring around the oil drain tube which makes a seal to the housing unit. What is above that o ring in the void space other than the oil drain tube as I believe there is water getting into that void space.
