04 Merc. 9.9 4-Stroke bigfoot prop upgrade?

I want to get more speed from my 9.9 4-stroke Bigfoot , Is there a better prop I could put on it ? The motor is on a TX-17 Tracker. I asked where i bought the motor from and they said they would'nt recommend it, But they also did'nt seem to know much about the motor. Any Idea's?

You need a prop that will allow the motor to reach full recommended RPMs with an average load. We'd need tach readings and the prop pitch you have now to make informed suggestions. Regardless of the prop you use, you're probably not going to plane that boat with any 9.9 4-stroke, especially a Bigfoot. They're made for pushing large loads slowly. I'm afraid you have a bit of a mismatch there. Unless you're on a 10Hp max lake. Then the Bigfoot is the right choice for pusing a boat that's too big for it.
