water leaking into bilge

Good thing it wasn't tied in deep water. I went out this morning and there was a foot of water in the boat. I have an '02 Bayliner 1952 Capri cuddy with Mercruiser 135 hp I/O. I found the leak around the transom where the i/o is bolted. Is there a gasket between the two parts?
Suggestions are needed.

don..can I call you don ? no disrepect here..but..

2002 Investment that floats without a SECURE auto bilge pump is askin for trouble..

there is no " gasket " other then 4200/5200 on bolts.

If you suspect a leak through your transom then dry out area and slop around some baby poweder on your inside holes..that will tell if your leaking and where from.

you might have to rebed the mounting holes with 3M 4200/5200
