Well I cleaned the carb and it wasn't dirty. There wasn't even any sediment in the carb bowl. The mariner still will not idle I believe the idle stop screw was moved and the idle airbleed screw is opened too far. I'm sure that 4 turns open is too much. What are the default settings for these two adjustments?

It is a 9.9 mariner 1996 year. When I rotate the throttle twist on the tiller to anything from the start position to the idle position the engine dies. It doesn't sputter like it is too rich and it doesn't sag like it is too lean. I am running it in a run barrel.
