Well, it's off to Fry's now to find a modem. Comcast had a $25/mo 6 month introductory offer that ended today. Even up to this morning I was considering the slightly lower priced DSL (also signifigantly slower) but I had questions to ask. I had to make the decision today or pass on Comcasts 6 mo offer.
I called the local DSL provider. Their offices were closed on the weekend. I could not ask my questions. The ads never disclose all of the details and you learn to ask before you trip.
Well, that sealed the deal. Off to Comcast Cable I went. So Dad ought to be tickled pink come Wednesday.
