Yamaha Outboard Problem Runs at full speed then Dies
Ok guys i need your help. Here is the issue: I went down to the boat today started perfect ran( warming up) for 1/2 hour, went out fishing ran perfect, when i got to my spot about a mile away as i was slowing down (coming off plane) the motor stopped while in gear. tried to start it several times finally started ran back to the dock at full speed, slowed down to put the boat it the hoist and it shut off again. The fuel filter has been clearned and yearly maintenance has been done, i live in michigan so just getting her ready. Please help.
