I just purchased an 87 162 with a vovlo/penta 130 hp 275 stern drive. I am putting it in the water today. I got a steal on it ( I think). Floor looks solid, seats are in good shape. The previous owner tells me i do not need to use the radiator because the moter is water cooled ? Any feedback

The part about not needing the radiator is odd. I would post this issue in the I/O forum with some pics for clarification. I presume you've got an AQ131 in that boat which is a closed cooling engine. I'd like to see how it was bypassed.

I'll look for your post in that forum.
