I need to drop the lower unit to check the condition of the water pump. My questions are, where is the shift linkage and how do I disconnect from the shift handle? Also, I can find only 4 bolts holding the lower unit, are there other hidden bolts that I may be overlooking? I've changed water pumps in big Rudes and Mercs but not in motors with tiller steering. All help is welcome.
