For what it is worth recently I installed Mozilla Firefox and noticed a marked improvement over Internet Explorer V7.

And while we are on Mozilla - How do I create a shortcut on my desk top?

Typically, goto "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" in Windows Explorer.

Right click on firefox.exe, left clik on Send To...
Hi-lite "Send to" , left click on (Desktop) create shortcut...

^^ yup

Or... It should be in your start menu. Just drag it from there with the right mouse button to your desktop.

Sorry I was not clear - I have the shortcut to Firefox on my deaktop. I want to create a shortcut on my desktop from any web site that I have accessed using Firefox. In Explorer you clicked a blank area which brought up a drop down box with an option to "Create Shortcut".

Probably an easier way to do this but here's one way.
Using WinXP,
highlight the address,
right click and copy,
go to your desktop,
right click,
new,
shortcut,
paste address into location,
next,
type in wahtever you want to name it,
finish

Hopefully that works on your machine.

----Edit: I wouldn't bother doing this on the iboats boards pages until the new software is installed as the page addresses will undoubtedly change.

Same as Internet Explorer. Drag the little icon to the left of the address to the desktop.

You can also drag it to the house to set it as your home page.

Or better yet, drag it into your bookmarks (favorites).
