Default Top Mount(Binnacle) control for F15 yamaha

Trying to get a basic top mount control for the above. The motor should use a side mount 701-48130-02-00 but would leave the cables exposed on a center control of this 15' I am trying to get going . An electric model but does not have tilt/trim., push to start throttle. Seems as if the 704 model would be too expensive for this kind of set up..any ideas ?

Thanks Just In time.there is a "Marpac" brand at BoatstoreUSA.com..will that work ? remember no tilt and trim is on mine..

also went to install engine earlier and found out that the shaft is 15" and I am dealing with a 20 " transom.. I heard that yamaha does not have an extension ..I dont want to cut down and the transom.I have one of those Garelick brackets but although it says it could accomodate up to 20 hp. seems as if a 4 stroke motor is going to be heavy for it.. . any easier way out.?

Great idea..just look at some ,for this rig I'd go with a manual jack plate.. Seems as if I would have to go lower with the "cut out" for the steering cable .they seem to make them standard though..to fit the smaller OB to the 300hp model..seem pretty sturdy..

thanks ..
