Default Mercury 75 hp sluggish hole shot

Any suggestions for improving acceleration? I own a Merc 75 (3 cyl) oil injected 2-stroke that has always had a problem accelerating to plane. The dealers mechanic tinkered with it some while it was still under warranty but it has never worked properly in my opinion. Once the motor "warms up", the motor runs just fine. Having said that, I do not believe the motor bogs down because it is cold. It almost seems like there may be too much oil and not enough gas in my injection mix. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have owned this motor since new and have stored it inside, fogged the cylinders, treated the fuel, and changed the lower unit oil each fall.

The 75 hp Merc/Mariner is a 1993 vintage.

Sounds like there may be a link&sync or idle mixture adjustment problem. The link&synch procedure is too detailed to go into here so you need a service manual or if you can't do this yourself, you need to find a service agency with a test tank that you trust.
