I have a 1998 2109GF that has a 120hp Force on it. We really enjoy the boat but the 120 is just too small so I want to mount a 175 Johnson on it but am concerned as to whether or not the transom was mfgd differently to hold the bigger engine. I called Bayliner today and they told me that the motor options were 120, 150, or 175 but I forgot to ask them about the transom.
Also, if you purchased one with the 175 option what size fuel tanki is on your boat? Did they put in a larger tank for the larger motor? I believe the tank on mine is a 37 gallon.
