Ryan,

Your question leaves a lot to be desired regarding, how, what, when, why, where and not to mention-model number.

-First "guess". Your battery terminals BOTH ENDS are shot.

-Second "guess". The rectifier has gone. Without number 1 fixed, you'll "pop" number two a second, third, fourth time until you actually do #1.

Your choice, parts or labor?

Even more basic, how did you determine there is no charge going to the battery? If you looked at the voltmeter on the console and it read zero, yet the engine starts normally with no sign of a discharged battery, you may simply have a voltmeter that;s gone south or the wiring to it is bad. On the other hand, if you actually took a voltmeter and measured the voltage at the battery with the engine at about 1500 rpm and measured less than 12.6 volts, there very likely is a rectifier/regulator problem. But as was just mentioned, do the cables first. Then make the checks.
