The rochester # shouldn't make a difference...both are the same carbs.Looking up the rochester id says thats a 79 model 2GC..
So if your needing a rebuild kit it does not matter.
The 2 barrel rochester kits work on most early 70s to late 80s carbs.Some have the choke on the top and some on the bottom.
You can always google rochester carb ID numbers.
Look on flyingfish.com,they have pics of all the rochester carbs.
Oh,the AC plugs i think changed the number from the MR43t or whatever to something else...can't remember the new number but napa had them..
