Power transmission to the propeller.

I have several outboard engines in the past. But evryone have shear pin to transfer power to the propeller.But my new yamaha 5CMHL dont have shar pin. What if you punch something whith propeler, what stops the rupture shaft.

There is a rubber hub in the prop. It will absorb small shocks and shear on hard ones.

The downside is that it must be rehubbed after shearing.
