Iboats Gathering in Wisconsin, July 7th 2007

Looking for a boating-tubing-skiing-fishing weekend?
Look no further than the Petenwell Flowage, near Friendship Wisconsin, on the weekend of July 7th, 2007.

I and fellow iboats members, along with friends and family, will be gathering for a few days of boating activities.

32 boaters from 5 states attended in 2006.

All are welcome, so bring your boating buddies. No reservations are needed as there are over 300 campsites available. There are also a dozen motels within 20 miles if you prefer a roof over your bed.

Just a quick update.
Looks like we already have 20+ people planning to attend.

The campground has undergone a $1.6 million expansion and improvement.
500 camp sites now, and a new harbor and launch facility.

Still looking for more people to attend.
At last count, we are nearing last years attendance of 30.

Always room for more.
So if you would like to spend an afternoon, or a day or two, check out the thread and join in the fun. Bring your son or daughter, or a whole van full or friends.

The number of probable attendees has gone up a bit at last count.

If i can get my boat up and half way decent shape by then I will try to go and then just go home at night since I'm not of age to buy a campsite or a hotel/motel room. Friendship isn't far from my home so I'm not worried about it at all. If I can I will be there.
