The guide says, "To be announced" for all leventy bazillion channels.:'(

FORGALUMIC PECALUMER!! :|:|

What good is it to have all those channels if you have to surf each one to find out what is on now and have no clue what comes on next??

Am I the only one getting this??

I saw that once with DTV, grid populated after a while. If it lasts more than a couple of hours I would call them. How much ice is on the dish? It could also be poor signal from ice buildup.

JB, the one control box that is in the computer room does that every couple of days. I shut everything off and unplug the control box for 60sec. and seems to clear it up for me hope it works for you.......

That happens with my digital cable too. The problem with this "all digital" crap everybody is raving about, is that computers suck. Every computer ever made has broken down at some point, and will again in the future...

just unplug the reciver when it go through its ck it will update the guide

Maybe I should move this to Stupid Human Tricks.

I hadn't turned the receiver off in several days (it feeds three TV sets in different parts of the house).

I punched the "reset" button hidden away beneath a flip down panel. Upon resetting the guide works as planned.

Oooooh, I am so embarrassed!!:$

Glad you found it JB, was just gonna say RESET! No one really knows why, but sometimes the receivers brain gets screwed up.

Some days I can relate, but there is no red button to push. :%

I don't know......I'd bet that if you asked your main lady ....she'd know where your buttons are.....at least mine does! And she doesn't hesitate to push them when she gets mad......:|:|
