Anyone travel from Owen Sound to Tobermory?
How long should it take at a comfortable cruising speed.

And is it unreasonable to make the trip on a 22 ft Sun Ray Cierra?

Thanks

Re: owen sound to tobermory

I've made the trip from Midland up to Tobermory, took most of the day but we weren't in any real hurry and stopped at Lion's head for fuel and lunch. Although it's not unreasonable to make the trip in a 22' (I have a 35) you need to be really aware of the weather and you should have a VHF in the boat.

The 2 main ones would be 16, used for emergency only (such as a MAY DAY distress call) and 68 is used to contact other boaters (non-distress) and also many marinas monitor 68 as well.
