I uncovered the following while stripping the Upper Gearcase. Nothing listed on BRP, but have seen a picture of another Upper Gearcase on Ebay with the same number on a plate attached to it. Of coarse on mine the plate is missing. Does anyone have a reference that shows the year model of this?

Lindy, it's time to get out of the smog and away from the concertina wire.(San Berdu Fwy) Ya got a '75 to '77 high profile Electric shift drive. There isn't enough difference between those years to affect your resto.

Remove your drive and take it here:

Thanks Don. As usual, you are my Hero.

That's great, now take your hero's advise and get rid of that boat and get one with an engine and drive combination that still exists, along with a manufacturer that still exists.

Thanks for that little tidbit. I have been trying to find some identification of my drive for the last few weeks with no success. Just fund out mine is a 1971 210hp unit.

Welcome to iboats, glad that helped. What indication did you have the Drive is a 1971?. I ask because I noticed you other post. I have a 1974 SkipJack and through process of elimination, the drive turned out to be either a 75 or 76 with the edge on 1975.
