Merc 175 ECM repair

Does anyone know if a ECM can be repaired. Seems like mine decided to give out. If you now anyone that has one (new or old) or can repair them please direct them my way. new they are $1600.

Part # (old) 14632-a16
(new) 824003-A3
Any help would be great

What makes you think it gave out? RAPAIR might be able to help you out. They remap them for better performance and idling characteristics.
