Need help ID'ing a motor

The numbers on the motor are:

J15ECRN

E590581


From those numbers I think it's a 15hp Johnson with a electric start. I wondering on the year. I've asked my grandfather to recheck the numbers to make sure that C wasn't an L but he says those numbers are correct.

1984 Johnson 15Hp electric start short shaft. Electric start models are hard to find and far more valuable than recoil models. But short shaft hurts...a little.

Thanks. That's what year I told him it was but he thought it was newer than that. I wanted someone to back me up on the year before I told him he was wrong. I love that man with everything I have but he can be hard headed. LOL
