Can you tell me if my 1986 E25ELCDR has a primer start??
I am the Englishman who has problems starting the engine after a run. It was suggested by the forum that I replace the float and needle etc. Its difficult to pick up Evinrude spares for old outboards here in England but there is one available for sale I have come across.

Can any one advise if this is the correct 'kit'

It sure does. Should be an electric primer that sits on the starboard side of the carburetor.
