When I am just cruising everything is great ,but the moment I put a tube or board,skier out back the control stick (Power Pilot) emits a smoking smell of a very electrical origin.

Service centre apparently fixed an earth problem but next trip out did the same thing.

Any help appreciated.
PS I am in Adelaide South Australia.8)

Chances are you've got a loose or corroded connection in there someplace. Either that, or wire housing that's cracked or rubbed clean.

Double check and clean all your connectors, and check the condition of the wires where they enter the unit.

Those wires are pretty cramped in there. Something is loose or shorted. I just went through the same thing with my own motor.
