rebuilt lower unit for 1997 Force 15hp

Having problem finding a complete rebuilt lower unit for my 1997 force 15hp. Could anyone tell me where this part could be available ?

This is a non thrue hub exhaust type unit, small in size.

your best bet is to watch ebay for a used one...or start calling all the boat salvage yards in your area.

I doubt you will find a rebuilt unit.
There just isn't much of a market for them.

You can buy a used lower unit, or a complete motor, for much less than you could rebuild one for.

ebay is the place.

These guys are right on...due to the low hp the rebuilders can't make money on rebuilding such a small engine. If you had a 115 that would be a different story.

Tx guys, Well rebuilt or used would be fine, LU on my 15 hp needs fixing (oil seal leak) so I thought it could be cheaper or easier to simply bolt on another one instead of fixing, thus returning my defect unit on trade.

A 2 dollar oil seal on an easy to work on LU, compared to your high dollar alternative idea, is ludicrous.. fix it
