I have a 2003 sundeck from searay with 5.0MPI engine and Shifter at the helm...Problem is my shifter does not lock into Neutral...I can Push it forward or reverse without pushing the Button...Is there a catch of some sort in there that broke???

Depends on the shifter, some don't lock i to neutral.
Having said that, if it used to lock into neutral and now it doesn't, Yeah, something broke.
