alpha 1 prop

i am gather all parts over winter. i have an 89 merccuriser with . v-8 260 hp with alpha drive with no prop i want to get a starter prop off ebay. or trade mine local from past boats. the boats a glastron carlson css weight aprox 2800 lbs any idea which size prop

Just a Plain ole 21" pitch prop,..... In Aluminum will get you Started.........

It Might be alittle Small,........But it's a Start......

Like Bondo says, a 14.25 diameter X 21 pitch would be a good place to start.....
If it won't get the optimum WOT, it will be close & will be a good spare if nothing else....
Always carry a spare prop......
It isn't like getting a flat tire without a spare, cuz ya don't get to walk away.....;).......JK

i got one for my alpha one thats less then 14" seems too big???fits nice with adj. zinc plate not there
