got an issue with a mariner 75hp 3 cyclinder.
basically it's sparking intermittantly. initally it will spark on all cylinders for a few secs. try it again and it'll be down to 2, then again down to 1. leave it for 15 mins and try again and it might go back to 3 sparking and then 2, then 1 etc etc. the top cylinder always sparks and the other 2 will go between the intermittantly.
the problem occured while running and i know one cdm was gone so i replaced that and also the trigger but it has not fixed the issue. i put the engine into the local outboard place but they have had it a week now and there isn't a lot of progress because of waiting on a trigger (which didn't fix it)and a cdm tester coming (they don't have one).

anyone any ideas what this could be? i have been told possible cdm but they all do spark at some point then lose it which says to me it could be the voltage regultor can't supply the power properly sustained or the stator isn't giving it power in first place????
just would like some sort of idea as i can see me ordering parts constantly, already got a trigger i didn't need but thats part of the fixing process i guess.
