to get a key made for an auto with only the VIN? I sold a car, an 88 Le Baron to a pal a month ago and he hasn't paid. I wants to repo it, but I can't find my spare key. It would be a simple task if I only had a key. Chieif

Any Chrysler dealership should be able to pull up and cut the key for you with just the vin. However, they may ask for proof of ownership.

Well, being such an old vehicle you might be out of luck obtaining the key code from the VIN.

Tow truck - about 50-75 per hour.

Well Bob, you are right on about the being out of luck because of the age of the vehicle. Being as I don't want to stick any more money into this auto than I have to I will take them to court and get a judgement. It'll work out better that way anyroad. Thanks. Chief .)
