Thanks for the instructions on changing the water pump on the 65 6hp Fisherman. Took my new found motor to my brother in law yesterday. His motor on his 22ft sailboat quit on him so I loaned him this one. It ran perfect. Pushed that heavy boat 4 knots never offfered to spit or sputter. Just wanted to say thanks.

As Goofy would say, aw gawrsh. Speaking of thanks, my efforts here are a way of trying to say thanks by giving something back. The marine industry has fed my family for 45 years, first as a full time outboard mechanic, then in manufacturing after a career change. There are also several other people here who deserve thanks for their efforts and knowledge. The hardest part is trying not to offend the few well-meaning people who are giving ignorant advice. OK, so sometimes I mess up too.
