I am doing a complete powerhead rebuild on this engine. I am going to follow break in proceedures. I was thinking about using Amsoil products throughout. I am going to remove the VRO and go to premix. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Do a search on Amsoil and sit back for a few hours.

I suggest that you break it in with dino oil, DD.

Some believe that synthetic lubes too well when trying to seat the rings.

Dad has some Evinrude 2-Stroke Motor Oil. We will use that for break in. Thanks.
