Re: misfire

I just recently tried every thing under the sun to fix a mis at low RPM's...I never did a compression check be cause it ran fine otherwise (and I didn't have a tester). After hours and dollars spent doing unsuccessful trouble shooting, I borrowed a compression tester from a friend only to find out I has virtually no compression in one cylinder and another considerably low. Turned out being a broken ring and toasted piston. Not saying this is your problem but if you haven't checked your compression yet, go ahead and do that so you can have peice of mind that your quest for a relatively simple solution is attainable. Good Luck
