first time boater - bought boat and motor - no information found on motor - do not know how to take care of it, i.e., is there a motor oil mix, etc

Welcome to Iboats, Sieggen!

We're a little mixed up on that model number. Seems to have an extra digit. Is it 40453S?

Will be able to provide all the info you need as soon as we get that clarified.

Also, does it have a shift lever on the starboard side of the engine, or pushbuttons on the throttle controls?
