Re: REGULATOR--70HP FORCE 1990

Never had a reg/rec problem with my '95 70hp Force that I had for 8 years.

Could have another component causing stress on the reg/rec.
Like a battery with a weak cell.

BTW, the 70 hp Force was made from 1991-1995.

Check out Seilermarine

I purchased the rectifier for my Force 70 and it works great. By the way, if you have two batteries and a switch between them, make sure that the motor is off before changing between batteries (unless your switch is "make before break.") The rectifier must be attached to a battery while the motor is running or the rectifier will blow.
