HP offiiceJet 7210xi problems

I can print using the 7210xi but can not copy. I get an error to make sure that the device is connected correctly. It has worked in the past.

I have reinstalled the software. Also tried connecting directly to my computer. My system is wireless.

Computer in Toshiba and router is Linxsys. OS is windows XP

Delete the 7210 drivers and reinstall, DON'T let XP load its drivers, use the installation disk.

What IS the error? And when you say copy, you a pushing the copy button on the device?
