On a 94 crestliner 19 ft 3.0 lx alpha one engine, does the shift lever assembly need to be removed in order to get at the cutout switch ? There is no room to work between the hull and panel. I am a 1/2 a----d mechanic and I like to do these jobs for my son.
Some times during start up turning the key does nothing
then we wiggle the shift lever and we start cranking. Gets a little hairy when nothing works.
