Hello,
This all started when the motor cover or hood insulation came lose and some was sucked into the intake. Carbs have been blown out with low air pressue. It will crank fine and runs fine at 2000 rpm. If you try to throtle up it will cut off, unless you push the electric choke in and then you can give it the gas and it runs great. Anyone have any suggestions other than a shotgun.

Thanks,
Chuck

Take the carbs apart and clean the good. Sounds like they are not getting gas. Just my guess, hope it helps

When you have the carbs off, look into the intake and inspect for debris in the reeds. Don't bend or damage them.

That right there is a near text book discription of a plugged main jet. Take your carbs apart again, and remove the main jets and check for blockage, make sure the passage way isn't blocked as well. Your float needle valve could be blocked as well, but my money is on the main jets and/or the passageways. Don't rely on blowing through with compressed air, use a can of deep creep, wd 40, or carb cleaner and spray into the passageways to make sure it's flowing through.
