Is the trim switch serviceable / reparable in a 703 control or should I scrap the old switch and head to the dealer? Mine is getting stuck in the down and is tricky to get to function in the up mode.

Ideas before I crack it open?

I have the 704 model and it looked like you can buy just the switch. It probably much easier to change the defective switch than to re-rig your control.

Just buttoned it up very easy job, accept for a few siezed screws.
New switch was around $40.00 at the dealer.
