is there a way to repair the aluminum cylinder where the cylinder sleeve sits in.

when i popped of the head of a 85hp v4 the sleeve was almost corrodet to the metal sleeve.
i was wondering if i could use a epoxy to protect any furter oxidation.

or is this block doomed???

Block doomed...IMHO....it will only get worse., and create cooling/water problems down the line
